As a professional development course the primary focus is on building up your web design skills to complement your existing graphic design experience. You will be awarded a Certificate of Completion from Shillington College to state that you have completed our Web Course.
At the end of the course you will have completed a working web site. To construct this site you'll put into practice all the core skills and web design principles you've learned from the demonstrations and exercises throughout the course.

We have designed the Web Course to continually adapt to the ever-changing digital medium so you can be sure of acquiring the skills you need to advance your career. With campuses in the UK, the US and Australia, we pride ourselves in having a global view of the design industry.
The majority of the course work will be completed within class times. However, additional material will be supplied each class for those wanting to take things further.
There will be a maximum of 22 students per class. Each student will be allocated their own Mac to work on during the course.
The lecturers at Shillington College are friendly, passionate professionals who are keen to pass on their knowledge and experience. All are exceptional designers and great mentors with relevant industry knowledge.

Professional development over $250 is generally tax deductible if the course undertaken is directly connected with your work and will improve your skills. The expenses are not limited purely to education. Study-related travel, books, stationery etc are all claimable.

Our classroom computers come equipped with the necessary software. Purchasing the software for your personal use would make sense in the long-term, but it is not absolutely necessary in order to complete the course. You can always download a 30 day trial of the software while you're studying. Visit the Adobe website for more info.
No. Your course handouts will provide you with all the information you need to complement the lectures and demos. You will also be given an extensive list of online resources as an addition to the handouts. A suggested reading list will be supplied but the purchase of these books is entirely optional.
There are limited places on each course and applications are taken on a first come first served basis. If you intend to enrol then it is best to get your application in as early as possible.
