"Before enrolling in the Masterclass I was working as a multimedia designer making e-learning resources for students studying in the hospitality and food and beverage industry. After two years of working in this position I felt I had plateaued and really wanted to build upon my basic graphic design skills in order to complement my experience as a multimedia designer. Over the course my work has become more refined. I think things through more thoroughly and I am constantly questioning my thought process behind my design. "I chose to do the course to gain confidence and refresh what I had learnt in the Shillington Cert IV course. After two and a half years in my first job I felt I had lost confidence and motivation and needed something to give me more purpose as far as the direction my career was heading.

During the course I really started to blow-off the cobwebs as far as having my own ideas and making creative decisions was concerned. My design skills have definitely improved in terms of the process and I feel I have loosened up a lot. I am more open minded to ideas that I would have otherwise ignored or abandoned.

I would strongly recommend it to people in a similar position to me, a few years out of study and in need of a refresher or confidence boost.
